I’m going to email the landlord about there being no-one on my floor, and about the weird apartment where the door keeps closing. I just need confirmation that there will be other people in the building soon. I mean I know there are other people in the building. They told me that there were people living on the lower floors. I also want to ask if there is any construction still going on in the building. It would help to explain the weirdness that I have been experiencing. I probably won’t mention the stairs, or the hallway for that matter. I have been hearing some weird sounds here and there, like a sort of creaking? Which doesn’t make sense because it isn’t a wooden building and I haven’t heard of concrete creaking, but construction might explain it? I’m worried that the hallway is still getting longer. I stopped timing how long it takes me to get to the end of the hallway, but that doesn’t stop me from knowing it is longer. The security camera still sits there, almost taunting me, daring me to approach. I really need to make more friends in town. I've met a few people but it has been a minute since I went out. Maybe I’ll go out tonight. Kylie, the most welcoming of my coworkers, has tried telling me about a few places around town that I should check out. I haven’t been doing much around town lately anyway so I can afford to take a car there and back which helps with having to walk. Might have to dig through some boxes to find an “appropriate” outfit. Either way it will mean I am out of the apartment, no camera staring at me, and maybe I’ll make more friends.
